Kentucky man wanted arm and dangerous

CRITTENDEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Crittenden County man considered armed and dangerous is on the run from multiple law enforcement agencies after a large number of illegal drugs and weapons were seized within the last 48 hrs.

Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department, state and federal authorities are asking the public for help in locating Kenneth “Brian” Fitzgerald, age 35.

According to Sheriff Evan Head, Fitzgerald, a convicted felon, fled from police Tuesday evening while an arrest warrant for a probation violation was executed at his residence on Brown Mines Road in the southern area of Crittenden County.

During the incident, Fitzgerald nearly collided head-on with a federal agent before evading capture.

Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department conducted a search on Tuesday and found a 9 mm and .223 caliber ammunition, as well as books on munitions and improvised explosive devices, as well as steel fletchette, sharpened metal projectiles often used in bombs, a large marijuana grow consisting of over 70 marijuana plants, a large amount of dried marijuana, heroin, a handgun, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

Head said authorities on Wednesday seized several large pounds of methamphetamine.
Within the last 48 hours over $200,000.00 in drugs and cash have been seized, that is believed to be belong to Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald was last seen in the Frances area of Crittenden County late Wednesday evening.
Anyone with information on Fitzgerald is asked to immediately call 911 and not engage the suspect.
Fitzgerald is wanted on multiple drug and firearm felony offenses at this time along with a probation violation. A cash reward is being offered for tips and or information leading to the arrest of Kenneth “Brian” Fitzgerald.
