Benton, KY woman facing drug, other charges after traffic stop Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Benton, Ky. woman faces drug and other charges after a traffic stop on July 26.

Morgan Thompson, 32, of Benton, Ky. faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance 1st offense, indecent exposure 1st degree, 1st offense, endangering the welfare of a minor, no registration platem resisting arrest and assault 3rd degree-police office.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop at Radio Road and Sunset Drive around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

During the stop, authorities say Thompson intentionally exposed herself, resisted arrest and kicked the deputy.

She was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
