Sheriff’s Office: Florida man arrested after found driving stolen vehicle in Paducah

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Florida man was arrested after sheriff’s deputies say he was found in a stolen vehicle.
Stephen D. Carter, 34, of Orlando, Florida faces a charge of receiving stolen property $10,000 or more.
On Wednesday, July 16 at approximately 12:30 p.m., drug detectives spotted a stolen vehicle in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County.
Sheriff’s deputies and Paducah Police offices conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the intersection of Berger Road and Lone Oak Road.
Carter was driving the vehicle, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested.
The vehicle, an Audi SUV, had been reported stolen out of Charleston, South Carolina after it was taken from an airport terminal.
Carter was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
