Cape Girardeau police to increase presence at SEMO District Fair after social media threat

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau Police Department is aware of social media posts indicating a threat to “shoot up the fair.”

Officers are investigating.

The Cape Girardeau Police Department will have an increased presence for the remainder of the SEMO District Fair along with increased security measures.
