Pedestrian dies after struck by tractor trailer in Stoddard County
STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A Puxico man died after he was hit by a tractor trailer in Stoddard County on Thursday.
William E. Vanover, 31, of Puxico was walking on County Road 477 when he was struck by a tractor trailer five miles north of Dudley.
It happened at 12:58 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Lawrence R. Cookson, 83, of Puxico was driving a 2000 International tractor trailer north on County Road 477 when his vehicle hit Vanover.
