Farmington man dies in ATV crash near Fredericktown

MADISON COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A Farmington man died in a crash when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving struck an animal in the road and then a tree on Saturday, September 30.

Darrin J. McIntyre, 43, of Farmington was driving a 2020 RXR XP4 eastbound on Highway H about 1.5 miles north of Fredericktown.

The vehicle hit an animal in the road. The ATV traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree. It happened around 10 p.m.

McIntyre was pronounced dead at the scene by Madison County Coroner Collin Follis at 11:41 p.m.
