Dexter man facing several charges after weekend stabbing

DEXTER, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces several charges after a stabbing in Dexter on Saturday.

Joseph M. Frye, 32, of Dexter faces charges of Class B felony of assault 1st degree or attempt, unclassified felony of armed criminal action, Class D felony of tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution, Class E of unlawful use of a weapon-subsection 4-exhibiting, Class E felony of harassment-1st degree, Class E felony of resisting arrest/dentention/stop by fleeing-creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person and Class B misdemeanor of peace disturbance-1st offense.

Frye was being held at the Stoddard County Jail on no bond warrant.
