Man, woman sentenced for distributing methamphetamine in western KY

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Two members of a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy were sentenced to prison on Monday.

According to court documents, Angela Dawn Moore, 43, of Marshall County and Kevin Bellamy, 44, of Paducah were sentenced for conspiring to possess with intent of distributing more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.

They were also convicted of possessing with the intent of distributing methamphetamine on two occasions. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office seized meth in January 2021 and Kentucky State Police seized meth in March 2021.

Moore was sentenced to 12 years and six months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Bellamy was sentenced to four years in prison followed with three years of supervised release.

The case was investigated by DEA Paducah, Marshall County Sherriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police.

Assistant U.S. Attorney, Seth Hancock, Chief of the U.S. Attorney’s Paducah Branch Office prosecuted the case, according to United States Attorney Office.
