Benton, KY police investigating multiple reports of items stolen from vehicles

BENTON, Ky. (KBSI) – Benton police officers are investigating after items were stolen from multiple vehicles overnight and the early morning of October 17.

Police say all the vehicles were unlocked and there have not been reports of forced entry.

The Benton Police Department asks that residents to keep vehicles locked and report suspicious activity and people.

Additionally, Benton police caution citizens from keeping firearms inside their vehicle because many have been reported stolen.
