Woman faces charges of drug possession in Williamson County

MARION, Ill. (KBSI) – A woman faces drug charges in Williamson County after sheriff’s deputies pulled her over for a traffic violation.

Kelsey B. Lindsay faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies stopped Lindsay’s vehicle that was traveling on Cambria Road on October 30 after seeing a traffic violation, according to Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies spoke with the driver and passengers. After inspecting the vehicle deputies found drug paraphernalia, according to Williamson County Sherriff’s Office Facebook page.

After further search a white crystalline substance was found and tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.

Lindsay was arrested and taken to the Williamson County Jail.
