1 injured in rollover crash near Water Valley

WATER VALLEY, Ky. (KBSI) – A woman was injured in a crash Saturday afternoon near Water Valley.

Deputies with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to State Route 94 West near the intersection of Justus Road in the Water Valley area for a single-vehicle injury collision on Saturday, November 18 at 2:18 p.m.

Tina Lovett, 62, of Murray, was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty east on KY 94 West.

Lovett drifted off the south side of the road and overcorrected the vehicle. That caused her to cross the road and enter the north side ditch.

Her vehicle then struck a standing tree, a stump, and a fallen tree, causing the vehicle to overturn on the passenger’s side and rotate to face west.

Lovett was taken by Mayfield-Graves County EMS to a local out-of-county hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Graves County Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Water Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Mayfield-Graves County EMS.
