1 injured after grazed by bullet in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – One person was injured after being grazed by a bullet Tuesday night in Cape Girardeau.

On November 21 around 7:20 p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Whitener for a report of shots fired.

Officers found evidence of shots being fired along with a vehicle in the 2800 block of Whitener that appeared to have been struck by bullets.

Officers also found the victim’s vehicle a few blocks away with apparent bullet holes along with the victim with a non-life threatening graze wound caused by a bullet.

Police are still investigating the case.
