One arrested after stabbing in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – An individual is in custody after police responded to a stabbing.

On Monday, November 27, Cape Girardeau police officers responded to a call on the 1700 block of Broadway Street, around 12:30 p.m.

Upon arrival and investigation officers learned a man was stabbed after a physical altercation took place at a home on North Frederick Street.

Dequilla Williams, age 22 of Cape Girardeau was charged with a class D felony of domestic assault and felony armed criminal action.

Williams is currently being on a $25,000 cash only bond.

The victim’s condition hasn’t been released at this time.
