Residents line up at 3 a.m. for Jackson ALDI opening
JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – Residents in Jackson lined up to be the first customers of the newly constructed ALDI grocery store Thursday morning.
Some of the people first in arrived at 3 a.m.
Carolyn Sinks, a resident in the Jackson community, patiently waited in her lawn chair with a heavy blanket, bundled up in her coat and gloves. Sinks had been waiting since 6:30 a.m.
“I would have came about 5 a.m. but nobody would come with me,” said Sinks. “I really like ALDIs.”
ALDI is welcoming customers at its first location in Jackson on Thursday, December 7 at 8:45 a.m.
