Union City students learn about digital services during tour of technology company

UNION CITY, Tenn. (KBSI) – Members of Union City Leadership Innovation Team (LIT) were recently educated on Twin Oaks Technologies (TOT) services.

The group of a dozen middle and high school students took a business tour where they learned about IT technology, web design content, digital marketing, multiple social media platforms, software designs and mobile apps.

In a virtual meeting, a company’s CEO Mark Bondurant walked students through a Florida business and shared contributions from Twin Oaks that are incorporated into their factory, according to Union City Schools.

Students also met employees who work virtually on web development, media arts and digital marketing.

The Union City LIT contingent includes Gavin Morgan, Jacob Arnold, Zach Davidson, Foster Rodgers, Addison Carr, Debrionna Jones, and Chloe Hubbard. Others involved were Montichello Dale, Lyndsey Del Valle, Nakyah Yarbrough, Molly Kizer and Trinity Lockridge.

Union City High School Career Counselor Lisa Carson and Chamber of Commerce representatives Lyndsay Frilling and Rachael McKinney accompanied the group, which was escorted on the Twin Oask Tour by employees Nichole Kincade, Suzanne Harper, Charlene Burpo and Brad Norsworthy.
