Woman facing drug charges after traffic stop in Murray

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A woman faces drug charges after a traffic stop in Murray.

Brittany C. Sutton, 33, of Murray faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense-methamphetamine (Class D felony), possession of controlled substance 2nd degree-drug unspecified and possession of controlled substance 3rd degree drug unspecified.

Calloway County sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a S. 4th Street in Murray on Thursday, December 14 around 3:30 p.m.

The driver was found to be in possession of pills that did not appear to be prescribed to her and methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.

She was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
