Glen Allen man charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action

BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces murder and armed criminal action charges in Bollinger County.

Terry Allen of Glen Allen faces first-degree murder and armed criminal action charges.

On Saturday, December 16, 2023, around 5:31 p.m., Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office officials were dispatched to a home on State Highway Y for a report of a person with a gunshot wound.

They found man and detained him at the scene after a woman with gunshot wounds was found dead in the yard near the home

The woman was identified as Tina L. Skaggs of Gipsy.

Allen taken to the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office where he was arrested and booked into the Bollinger County Jail pending the issuance of an arrest warrant.

On Sunday, December 17, the Honorable Judge Alan Beussink issued an arrest warrant for Allen for murder – 1st degree and armed criminal action.

The arrest warrant was issued with no bond available.

An autopsy was performed on Monday, December 18. The cause of death was determined to be due to multiple gunshot wounds.

Bollinger County Sheriff Casey A. Graham thanked the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control and the Bollinger County Coroner’s Office for their assistance in the investigation.

Allen remained in custody the morning of Tuesday, December, 19.

This remains an active investigation.
