Man with felony warrant in IL arrested in Calloway County, KY

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man faces drug charges after sheriff’s deputies in Calloway County Ky. served a felony warrant out of Illinois.

Tyson Kempfer, 44, of Lynn Grove faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st off-methamphetamine (Class D felony), possession of drug paraphernalia and fugitive from another state-Illinois warrant (felony offense).

On Christmas night around 8 p.m., Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies served a felony warrant out of Illinois for theft of government property in Lynn Grove.

Kempfer was located and found to be in possession of illicit drugs, according to deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

He was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
