New Madrid County Central wins Show Down Tournament

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – Poplar Bluff School district hosted the 2023 annual Show Down Tournament.

The tournament was held for the 36th year in a row.

Teams that participated in the tournament are McCracken County, Paducah KY, Vilonia High School, Vilonia AR, Memphis East High School, Memphis TN, Urbana High School, Urbana, IL, Germantown High School, Germantown TN, New Madrid County Central, New Madrid MO, Christian Brothers College, St. Louis MO, and Poplar Bluff High School, Poplar Bluff MO.

New Madrid County Central boys’ basketball won the showdown tournament.

The tournament ran from December 28 -30, 2023.
