Illinois School Leader Pipeline Program

VIENNA, Ill. (KBSI) – Vienna and its feeder schools have five staff that are currently involved in the Illinois School Leader Pipeline Program.
Individuals were selected by a state level committee.
“Ensuring that current staff can expand their knowledge and skill base is always a win for our community and the region. Vienna and our feeder grade schools have served as a pipeline that has not only placed teachers around the region historically but also has been the starting place for many school leaders that serve in our region,” said Joshua Stafford, Super Intendant of Vienna Schools.
Current participants are Beth Palmer, Nicole Trovillion, Aerial Ford, Rebecca Guest, and Jason West.
Those selected for the Pipeline program receive the following benefits on an annual basis:
-$7200 in tuition support
-20 hours of school mentoring by an experienced school leader.
-$500 to offset 5 days of subbing costs and/or professional development opportunities.
-IPA membership to connect to aspiring school leaders to the largest professional learning network of school leaders in the state of Illinois.
Program participants are selected through a rigorous select process.
