Woman arrested after K9 finds cocaine, Fentanyl during traffic stop

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A woman faces possession of cocaine and Fentanyl charges after a traffic stop in Williamson County on New Year’s Eve.
Felicia M. Hill faces charges of possession of controlled substance, driving while license revoked, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol charges.
Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies saw a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the area of Interstate 57 and Herrin Road around 10:58 p.m. on December 31, 2023.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop and discovered Hill was driving while her license was revoked.
Williamson County Sheriff’s Office K9 “Roxy” was deployed to conduct a free air sniff of the vehicle. “Roxy” provided a positive alert to the odor of illegal narcotics.
A deputy conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and found two clear viles. The viles contained a white rock substance which field tested positive for Fentanyl, according to information from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
Hill was arrested and taken to the Williamson County Jail.
The substance was later field tested for cocaine with a positive indication. Deputies believe the substance to be Fentanyl laced cocaine. The substance is being forwarded to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab for further analysis.
