1 injured after shot while driving, crashed in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Cape Girardeau police are investigating after a person was shot while driving.

Police received a call at 10:40 a.m. on Friday, January 12 of a person who crashed his vehicle after being shot.

It happened in the 1000 block of Bloomfield Road, according to Officer Bobby Newton with the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No suspects are in custody.
