Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center hosts winter Sensory Saturday program

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center hosted its winter Sensory Saturday program on Saturday afternoon.
Children of all ages and abilities learned about how wild animals survive the frigid temperatures by participating in several sensory-friendly activities. The activities were designed to provide tactile opportunities through hands-on exploration.
Naturalist Angela Pierce revealed what she enjoys most about leading this program.
“I just like to see the creativity and the imagination in the kiddos, and I really enjoy seeing them interact with the puppets and play with each other and just watch them learn more about nature,” she said.
