Mayfield man facing drug charges in Hickman County

HICKMAN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Mayfield man faces drug charges after a controlled traffic stop in Hickman County.

Cornealius Brown of Mayfield was arrested Friday, January 19 as the result of an investigation into drug trafficking.

A controlled traffic stop was conducted and 7.8 grams of marijuana and one ounce of methamphetamine was recovered from him, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.

Brown was arrested and taken to the Ballard County Detention Center.

The Hickman County Shetiff’s Office was assisted by investigators from the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Fulton County Shetiff’s Office.
