Flood Watch into Wednesday
A Flood Watch is in place for most of the KBSI viewing area through Wednesday morning.
The Flood Watch begins at 6pm Tuesday and lasts into Wednesday morning. Excessive rain fell overnight and more is expected tonight.
Flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams is possible and other flood-prone locations will be impacted.
Many areas saw around a half of an inch to just over an inch of rain through Tuesday evening.
Rain will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, then tapers off during the late morning and afternoon. More is possible Thursday, as well.
Additional rainfall through Wednesday morning will be in the half of an inch to over an inch range. With most of the ground frozen, runoff is expected.
It will be very mild on Wednesday. Highs are usually in the lower 40s this time of year!
We’ll see highs in the 50s for the next few day before cooling back down into the 40s. Still above average, though!
