Former SEMO receiver invited to NFL Combine

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A former Southeast Missouri State University wide receiver Ryan Flournoy has been invited to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
The NFL Combine will take place Thursday February 29-Sunday March 3rd at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Flournoy, a native of Hazelcrest, Illinois, will play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile Alabama on February 3rd prior to the combine in Indianapolis.
Flournoy is only the 3rd player in SEMO football history to get an invite to the NFL Combine joining Kelvin Anderson (1995) and Angel Rubio (1998).
The quarterback, wide receiver, and tight end drills at this year’s combine begin Saturday, March 2nd at 12 p.m. CT.
The NFL Scouting Combine provides a pivotal step in the prospect journey from an amateur athlete to an NFL professional. This key stop before the NFL Draft provides an exciting opportunity for fans to witness the future talent of the NFL before the prospects find their new team.
The 89th annual NFL Draft is set to take place in Detroit, Michigan on April 25-27th.
