Woman facing drug charges after traffic stop in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A woman faces drug charges after a traffic stop in Calloway County.

Tyra Ford, 59, of New Concord faces possession of cotrolled substance 1st degree, 1st offense-methamphetamine (Class D felony), possesssion of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense-cocaine (Class D felony), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 641N and Hwy 80 on January 26 around 7:30 p.m.

The passenger, Ford, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs, according to sheriff’s deputies.

She was taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
