Contract worker injured in possible shooting at Hardin apartment complex

HARDIN, Ky. (KBSI) – Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a man was injured while working at an apartment complex in Hardin on Wednesday.

Deputies and detectives responded to a call of a possible shooting on January 31 around 8:30 a.m. at the Hilldale Apartments in Hardin.

They found a man who appeared to have been strucked by an unknown projectile.

He was taken from the scene by Marshall County Ambulance Service and then flown to Baptist Health in Paducah.

The man is a contract employee of WK&T. He was on the property to do work at an apartment.

The man was listed in stable condition as us Wednesday evening.

Sheriff’s deputies believe this was an isolated incident and do not believe that the public is in danger.
