Lyon County sheriff asks for public’s help after home burglarized

LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies asks for the public’s help as they investigate a burglary.

It happened in the early hours a February 11 near KY 93 South.

This was an area that was damaged by the December 2021 tornado event.

It was reported that the elderly resident’s home was forcibly entered through the garage.

Once inside, the thieves stole multiple containers of dehydrated food. Many of the brands are Honeyville and Saratoga Farms.

The offenders also attempted to steal a Wurlitzer jukebox but left it near the home, overturned and damaged.
