Marshall County woman indicted on wire fraud charges

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Marshall County woman was indicted by a federal grand jury on wire fraud charges.
Amanda S. Robertson, 33, was indicted on six counts of wire fraud.
She is accused of using her position as bookkeeper to unlawfully obtain funds and services totaling more than $1 million from her employer’s account.
She is accused of using the company’s bank account to schedule unauthorized electronic payments and issue company checks to pay her personal expenses.
If convicted, Robertson faces a maximum sentence of 120 years in prison.
The case is investigated by the FBI and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Raymond McGee of the U.S. Attorney’s Paducah Branch Office is prosecuting the case.
