CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – The City of Carbondale and the Carbondale Park District work together to complete a master plan for Carbondale’s public parks and green spaces.

We are enthusiastic about this joint process to improve our recreational and natural areas.

The master plan will include opportunities for feedback from the community including a resident survey.

Visit carbondaleparks.com to complete the survey. The survery will be open for three weeks. It closes on Wesnesday, March 6.

Yard signs have also been distributed around town with a QR code that directs people to the survey.

A series of focus groups will be held to further discuss ideas and plans.
