6 arrested, 1 cited for various drug charges in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Six people were arrested and another cited for various drug charges in McCracken County.

McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives and troopers with the Kentucky State Police arrested six people and cited another individual to court in connection with various drug investigations.

McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives were investigating complaints of illegal drug activity at 1149 Oaks Road in McCracken County on February 13.

While at the home detectives found and arrested two wanted people, 46-year-old Misty D. Henderson and 37-year-old Darrell Franklin Jr.

Detectives also seized a small quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Detectives found and arrested 48-year-old Fredrick J. Rupcke on Oaks Road on outstanding warrant for his arrest in connection with a McCracken County drug investigation that happened on January 23.

In a separate investigation on February 14, detectives served a search warrant at 3620 Brighten Cove in Paducah.

Detectives found and arrested 59-year-old Jay Clark, who was at the home in connection with illegal drugs (methamphetamine) and paraphernalia found at the home.

Later that same day detectives assisted the Kentucky State Police with obtaining a search warrant for a home on Jewell Lane in Ledbetter.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives and troopers found approximately 196 grams of methamphetamine.

Three people, Michael Jordon, David Herl, and Robert Shirley, were charged after the execution of the search warrant.

All six people were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Misty D. Henderson, 46, of Oaks Road faces charges multiple outstanding arrest warrant for drug-related offenses.

Darrell Franklin Jr., 37, of Oaks Road has multiple warrants for failing to appear for court and or nonpayment of fines.

Fredrick J. Rupcke, 48, of Butler Lane faces charges in an arrest warrant (complicity to trafficking in methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia).

Jay C. Clark, 59, of Brighten Cove in Paducah faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

David A. Herl, 42, of Ledbetter faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert D. Shirley, 59, of Ledbetter, faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Jordan, 32, of Ledbetter faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (greater or equal to 2 grams methamphetamine.
