Benton, IL firefighters celebrate 1 year with station dog Knox

BENTON, Ill. (KBSI) – Benton, Illinois firefighters celebrated the anniversary of one of their crew members.

Knox is their Dalmatian station dog.

Firefighters with the Bention Fire Department say though having a station dog has been great, there were some trying times during his puppy stages.

Knox has brought joy to the firehouse. He loves to meet everyone who visits the station.

He, of course, loves his treats, and shows off his skill of stop, drop, and roll.
