Hazel man facing numerous drug charges

HAZEL, Ky. (KBSI) – A Hazel man faces several drug charges after he was arrested on March 12.
Robert F. Coleman, 47, of Hazel faces charges of trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense greater than 2 grams-methamphetamine (Class C felony), possesion of controlled substance 1st deg, 3rd or greater offense-opiates (Class D felony), possession of controlled substance 2nd degree-hallucinogen, possession of controlled substance 3rd deg-drug unspecified, possession of drug paraphernalia and persistent felony offender.
On March 12, Coleman was arrested on an indictment warrant that was issued by the Calloway County Grand Jury.
Coleman has an extensive arrest history including being found guilty of possessing methamphetamine on two other occasions in 2016 and 2020, according to Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies.
He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
