Harrisburg police investigating shooting

HARRISBURG, Ill. (KBSI) – Harrisburg police are investigating after shots were fired Monday evening.

Saline County Central Dispatch received multiple calls reporting shots being fired near the intersection of Granger Street and Ogara Street onMarch 18 around 7:48 p.m.

Harrisburg police officers and deputies from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area.

They found witnesses who reported several males firing shots in front of a home in the 700 block of South Granger Street.

They reported that everyone involved then left the area.

Officers found the scene and recovered physical evidence confirming that a shooting took place.

No one was injured.

No arrests have been made.
