Hazel man out on bond arrested on drug charge

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man was arrested on an indictment warrant issued by the Calloway County Grand Jury.

Aaron D. Beard, 50, of Hazel faces a charge of trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense greater than 2 grams-methamphetamine (Class D felony).

He was arrested on March 14 around 9 a.m.

Beard was out on bond at the time of this arrest after he was indicted in January of this year for multiple drug offenses including trafficking of methamphetamine in Calloway County. Those charges are still being adjudicated.

He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
