Two counties in search of wanted Mayfield, Ky. man

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI)- Graves County Sheriff’s deputies say during the evening hours of February 24, 2024, a vehicle pursuit began in Graves County through Carlisle County and into Ballard County.

The chase ended when the driver fled from the vehicle on foot and into a swamp, where he got stuck in the mud and had to be rescued by law enforcement officers.

His now wanted for failing to appear in court in both Ballard and Graves Counties.

He was charged with 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading, DUI, Speeding 106 mph in a 55-mph zone, and other charges in both counties.

He was identified as being 37-year-old Guadalupe A. Martinez of Mayfield, Ky.

He is 5″10, 160 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

If anyone has any information as to his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Graves County Sheriff’s Office or their local law enforcement agency.

Graves County Sheriff’s office says Mr. Martinez is aware that he is wanted.
