Man wanted for parole violations arrested in Graves County

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man wanted for parole violations was arrested Sunday evening in Graves County.
Graves County Sheriff’s deputies spent the most of Sunday afternoon searching for Cameron J. Evans, 36, who reportedly had been living a tent in the area of Byrd Road in Graves County.
He was captured and arrested at 6:15 p.m.
Evans was on parole for criminal convictions of rape, stalking and other offenses. Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden says he was also in violation of sex offender regulations.
Sheriff Hayden says Evans has ran from deputies a couple of times in this area over the last couple of days.
Evans will be taken to an out-of-county detention center.
