Man facing firearm, possession of controlled substance charges in Steele

STEELE, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces firearm and drug charges in Steele after police searched a home.

Bobby Ray Johnson faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

Steele police officers obtained a residential search warrant on Bellvue Street and executed the search warrant with assistance from Hayti police during the evening hours of Wednesday, March 27.

Police found and seized two handguns with ammunition and a suspected controlled susbstance.

A no bond warrant for his arrest was issued.

The Hayti police officer assisted Steel police.
