Paducah police investigate after 1 injured in shooting

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Paducah Police are investigating after one person was injured in a shooting late Friday night.
Police responded to the area of the 2700 block of Trimble Street after receiving a call of several shots fired around 10:53 p.m. on April 19.
While officers were enroute, they noticed a black SUV driving at a high rate of speed toward Baptist Health Paducah.
As officers arrived at the hospital, they were told that a man had entered with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to an out-of-state hospital for further medical treatment.
Officers found several shell casings in the roadway of the 2700 block of Trimble Street.
Detectives are investigating.
