Westbound U.S. 68 in Trigg County reopened after tanker truck overturned

TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – The westbound lanes of U.S. 68 in western Trigg County reopened after a tanker truck overturned and crashed Tuesday evening.

It happened in near the 6 mile marker in Land Between the Lakes.

The truck, originally thought to be hauling alcohol, was loaded with residue from corn mash used to make alcohol, according to Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
