Traffic stop leads to arrest for theft in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A New Concord man faces theft charges after a traffic stop early Friday morning.
Jesse Parker, 34, of New Concord faces charges of theft by unlawful taking- firearm (Class D felony) and theft by unlawful taking-all other.
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on May 17 around 3 a.m.
They found that Parker had an outstanding arrest warrant.
The warrant stemmed from an incident reported on March 2 in which the victim claimed that Parker had taken a firearm and other property without returning them.
