U.S. 62/Kentucky Dam Road eastbound blocked by crash

REIDLAND, Ky. (KBSI) – U.S. 62/Kentucky Dam Road eastbound is blocked by a crash in the Reidland area of McCracken County Tuesday afternoon.

U.S. 62 eastbound is closed in the 6200 block of Kentucky Dam Road due to a crash involving a motorcycle and a SUV.

This is along U.S. 62 between U.S. 68 and Calvert Drive near the 14.5 mile point immediately west of the U.S 68 Intersection, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The eastbound lanes are blocked. The westbound lanes are restricted to one lane at the crash site.

The road is estimated to be blocked until about 6 p.m.

Drivers are asked to stay alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
