2 face drug charges in Paducah after home visit

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people from Paducah face drug charges after a home visit by Probation and Parole.
Drug Division Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole with a home visit on Harrison Street in Paducah on May 22.
The residents, Alexis Wright and Jeremiah Matlock, were on supervision through Probation and Parole for unrelated offenses.
During the home visit, detectives say they discovered that Wright and Matlock were in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana along with other items of drug paraphernalia.
Jeremiah L. Matlock, 49, of Paducah, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alexis Wright, 27, of Paducah faces charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wright and Matlock were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
