The mobile food bank held distribution sites in Doniphan, Dexter and Sikeston this week. Heather Collier is the donor relations manager for the Southeast Missouri Food Bank. She says they work with Emergency Management to figure out where the greatest need is in different communities. Collier shares how you could receive food assistance if you missed the distribution dates in your area.
“We will access after this week and continue working with emergency management in all of the counties that were affected and determine if we need to do more,” said Collier. “We have regular pantries that are still ongoing throughout our service area. We have regular mobile pantries that were already scheduled that are still ongoing and so all of that information is on the get help tab on SEMO FOOD BANK.ORG.”
