Man arrested for assault

PADUCAH, KY (KBSI) — A man from Hopkinsville was arrested late Friday night for allegedly stabbing a man during an altercation.

Paducah Police Officers responded to Bloom Avenue after getting a call of a stabbing. They found the victim at a local hospital where he was receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries due to the incident. He informed detectives he was in an argument with John Parker, and during the fight, he said he was stabbed by Parker.

Parker was located in the area where the stabbing took place and had a knife. He confirmed he was at the victim’s house and admitted he stabbed the victim during a fight. He has been arrested and charged for assault.
