1 injured in crash between motorcycle, dump truck

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – One person was injured in a crash between and motorcycle and dump truck on Tuesday in McCracken County.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Husband Road & Old Husband Road regarding a crash at 3:08 p.m. on June 11.
Sheriff’s deputies say Christopher Samples, 43, of Lowes, Ky. was driving a 2020 Mac dump truck northbound on Husband Road.
Marco Delgado, 27, of Calvert City was driving a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Old Husband Road.
Deputies say the motorcycle entered onto Husband Road, into the path of the northbound dump truck.
Delgado was transferred to an out of state hospital for treatment of serious and incapacitating injures.
Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by Mercy Regional Ambulance, Reidland-Farley Fire Department, McCracken County DES, Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement and Lent’s Towing.
