STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A man accused of setting up a hidden camera in an employee bathroom at a pharmacy in Advance was sentenced on Wednesday.

Bruce Dovin was sentenced to five years probation.

In April, Dovin withdrew his not guilty plea and changed to guilty to all counts including the E felony of invasion of privacy and three charges of Class A misdemeanor of invasion of privacy.

The defense asked for a Suspended Imposition of Sentence, just probation.

Judge Ben Lewis sentenced Dovin to four years for the felony charge and one year for each misdemeanor.

Prosecutor Sawyer Smith says the defendent is a convicted felon. The state asked for confinement, but Sawyer says he respects the judge’s decision.
