Global War on Terrorism Wall of Remembrance on display in southern Illinois

(KBSI) – The Romans Warrior Foundation will bring the The Global War on Terrorism Wall of Remembrance to southern Illinois on Friday, June 28.
The moving tribute ia a 120-foot-long wall that symbolizes the Honor, Strength, Courage, Commitment, Loyalty, and Family Values of America and commemorates the price paid for our freedom.
The Wall honors victims and heroes of the Global War on Terror, including those who lost their lives on 9/11 and the military personnel who answered the call to duty and paid the ultimate price.
Installation schedule:
- 9:30 a.m. – The Wall will be staged at Roadhouse Harley Davidson in Mt. Vernon.
- 1 p.m. – Departure from Roadhouse Harley Davidson.
- 1:30 p.m. – Arrival at Lance Cpl. J. Kyle Price Memorial in Woodlawn.
- 1:45 p.m. – Departure from Lance Cpl. J. Kyle Price Memorial on Illinois 148.
- 2:30-3:15 p.m. – Estimated arrival at Oasis Motorsports in Marion.
Players from the Marion High School Football team will be there to assist with the installation of The Wall.
The Wall will be at Oasis Powersports (former Toys R Us building) in Marion, Illinois from June 28 to July 1.
The public is encouraged to visit and pay their respects, reflecting on the courage and dedication of service members.
