Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers investigating after several homes, vehicles hit by gunfire

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers are investigating after several homes and vehicles were hit by gunfire early Monday morning.
Sgt. Tyler Rowe says officers responded to the 300 block of Magnolia for reports of gunfire.
He says there were two separate set of gunfire. One was about 19 rounds. The other set of gunfire was about three rounds.
Several homes and vehicles were struck by the gunfire.
No one was injured. No one is in custody.
Detectives are investigating.
